Friends Come in all Shapes & Spices

I've been eyeing this piece for about 3 or 4 years now, but just never had anything to do it for. Finally a snowman quilt came up at CSFC so I thought I would do this for it. Only problem it has to be done on white material. White on white isn't the most fun to do. Although the snowman is going very easily the snowflakes on the side and bottom were horrible to do, and you really can't see them. I love doing this piece though it is so cute.

Tim and Wendy are done in AL now. Good place as here it is cold and snowy all day we are to get 8 up to 8 inches of snow but I don't think we'll get it. They said the worse part of their trip down there was Northern IN it took an hour to go 20 mles. Tim says Jake and Nate look exactly alike amd he has to look twice to tell them apart. Hopefully he'll have a nice visit with the boys and their families and this will be something they can do every years.

Well, not much else has happened since Thursday so until next time Happy Stitching!

Coming along nicely. When I have to do white on white I add some filament to it so I can see to do it.

oh, I think this piece is going to be so cute. Hate stitching white on white also. Northern Indiana is where I live. LOL! Yes, snow and cold is not fun.

Very cute design, and I'll bet the white on white is difficult to do. Maybe a bit of outlining on the white snowflakes would help them stand out a bit more? Glad they got to AL ok, sounds like a rough trip. Hope you're feeling better now too, although the nasty weather we've been having seems to making a lot of people get, and stay, sick.

Shapes and spices is adorable. Sorry you're having such trouble with the white on white. Hopefully, it'll get easier.
