Finished
I finally have finished Faith. I'm not sure this is a really good picture of it. It was a fun piece to do but took a lot longer than I contemplated. It's my kind of piece though, small but detailed. Now to go back to the clown piece again.
The other day I read on someone's blog about Cyberstitchers. While the person had every right to be disappointed and to voice it I am disappointed by all the badmouthing the posters had. So I am going to say some good things about Cyberstitchers. For one thing it is free and they offer a whole lot at their site. They have received headaches from designers unhappy with something a person stitched or they got the name wrong etc. And have received criticism from other people who have rooms there. I'm not saying I agree with everything but the rules are there for a good reason and are not hard to follow. (Although I really don't see where this particular person broke any rules, she had a good room there and I will miss seeing her room as I enjoyed it. I will miss her there, and yes I do understand her side of the story too and her disappointment.) When I have had a problem with Anita she has responded very nicely and satisfactory. They have put a lot of time and work into the site for everyone to enjoy and it shows. So I don't feel she deserved to be badmouthed like she was from people who aren't even familiar with the site. After all the site is free she isn't charging anything, if we don't like it we can just delete our room and go on from there. Well I've had my say. Anyone who knows me knows I find good in everyone and do not tolerate bad mouthing too well. Enough said on that.
We are enjoying some spring like weather. The next week is suppose to be very springlike. I sure hope winter doesn't return as we are all going to be very upset! We are getting spoiled by the weather. I even walked my brother's dog, Autumn for an hour yesterday. It was so nice.
Well until next time Happgy Stitching. Thank you for reading my blog and I hope you will continue reading it.

Congratulations on your finish! It's beautiful! I love those colors!
I've never even heard of Cyberstitchers, but dang. I'm sorry to hear someone got drummed out like that. :(
It's nice of you to only think good about people, but if I had been treated that way by Cyberstitchers, I think I would have posted about it too. They need to be accountable for their actions.
Nice finish Barb, like always ;-à
The stitcher you are talking about is a wonderfu person and I'm sure we can all understand how disapointed she felt when she realized all her album has been deleted (hundred of pictures) , even though she always complied with the rules. Let's hope she can get back all her pictures and informations ;-) And I agree with you there are enough photo album to make everybody happy in this world ;-)
Let me make this clear. I am not putting the poster down. I understand her hurt and disappointment and would have felt the same way. I am extremely sensitive and always go to the other person's defense. Rather I feel they were right or wrong. The poster is a great person I agree and yes, she needed the support of others. So I may have over reacted to be honest, and I do apologize if I did.
Hi Barb. I understand that you're just trying to even out the picture by stating the good things that Cyberstitchers provides, and for free. Cyberstitchers, when I joined several years ago, was a GREAT place and I have met some incredibly wonderful people thanks to the site (including you!). Unfortunately, about a year or so ago, Anita started refusing to accept projects that were designed by lesser-known designers - even after I had some designers contact her in writing - and things just got worse from there. She kept making changes to my gallery without asking/informing me and then she made it so people could no longer email me directly from my gallery. When I offered some of my designs for use in the 'freebies' section, she insinuated that my designs were actually copied from other designers. At that point, I decided to take some time off and cool off. But when I logged back in 10 weeks later, my gallery had been deleted without any forewarning and when I attempted repeatedly to contact her about it, she refused to respond (and even deleted my queries from the message boards) until I "threatened" to go public. It's very, very sad. I miss the Cyberstitchers that existed a couple of years ago - a happy, social place full of wonderful, giving, friendly people.
Congrats on your finish.

Congrats on your finish, Barb. Is Anita the same one who's on the CCS board?
Pretty finish! Congrats!
