Almost finished and Winter Storm

I'm almost done with Bethlehem. I'm anxious to get it done. I love doing it but just monotonous in parts.

We are getting hit by another winter storm. This is the first of 3 storms to hit us between now and Tues. Guess we are being guaranteed of a White Christmas. I really thought the storm was missing us as I woke up at 6 and it didn't look like it was here but it was blowing a lot. Now it's well underway. Glad my sister beat the storm and arrived safely yesterday. She will probably go home tomorrow to beat the next storm. Although the next one doesn't sound like it will be as bad as this one it's just the add on that's bad. We are expected to get 6-10 inches of fresh snow from this storm. Not as much as first forecasted but areas south and east of us will get more and some will get ice too. Not nice today hopefully it'll clear out by the SS class party tonight.

Today I'm going to my parents where my sister and I are going to do some Christmas baking and play games with mom. Yesterday we finished off our Christmas shopping before the storm hit. Nice to have it done.

Well, until next time Happy Stitching!

You seem to be flying on this, it looks great. What a lovely piece, and how perfect to have it finished at Christmas. We're due to get some more snow as well, off and on between now and Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. Like you said, it does look like we'll be assured of a white Christmas as that will be on top of the 6 to 8 inches we already got.

I'm sure parts are pretty boring to stitch after a while, but I sure am enjoying watching this piece grow!! Great progress Barb!
It's sooo pretty:)
Glad your sister made it to you and hope her return home is just as safe!
