I have just started Winter Silhouette by Imaginating. I am using Specialty thread. My question is do I work the top row all the way across first then 2nd row so on so forth or can I do each individual picture? I have started the church. I love this piece. I saw it in purple at the LNS and it was beautiful but they didn't have the purple thread so went with blue. I am doing it on white opescent material, (14 count). It'll be beautfiul when done! Oh thats gorgeous! I say if you want to stitch each individual picture then stitch it that way :D I always stitch whichever way I choose :D Makes it much more fun
This looks a lovely design. Not sure what to answer to your question I'm sure either way will look good but you may prefer to do each invividual picture at a time, as you will see a little bit at a time grow!
IMHO I would stitch the top of the sky all the way across. Once it's finished it may look odd if the colors have definite lines if you don't do the sky altogether. I think when you get down to the buildings and trees you can work on each one individually. I love the thread you chose ;)

Beautiful thread! What kind is it? I would do each individual thing by itself. You might want to go all the way over with the snow though.
When using over-dye threads you do one complete stitch at a time (XXXX). I hope that makes sense. This is a very pretty pattern and can't wait to see it finished. Good Luck
That is so cute.
I think it comes down to individual preference. I like to see things take shape quickly, so I would stitch each building and tree instead of bottom up by rows.
Just my way of doing it, though.
