What a difference a Day Makes

Usually I don't show progress pictures 2 days in a row but I just couldn't leave the baby otter without a face and was pleased with the progress I made on it today. I really am enjoying this piece a lot. This is by Stoney Creek. Typical of Stoney Creek has a lot of backstitching but the backstitching really makes it come alive I think. While I am no fan of Marilyn, owner of Stoney Creek, she has some good designers work for her and I do my share of pieces by Stoney Creek. Do you have a designer you seem to do a lot of their patterns? What designer?

Until next time Happy Stitching!

Ohhh!!! This is going to turn out so adorable, I cant wait. I do alot of BBD & BOAF designers for now, but it always seems to change. Have a great stitchy weekend. Ranae

This is really a sweet piece, Barb!

As for designers that I just can't keep my hands off, I'd have to say that Kathy Barrick-Dieter leaps to the top of my list! I like BoaF a lot, too, and some Danish designers, and ... uh oh, no wonder I'm running out of storage room!

Very nice! The otters are coming out cute. I haven't ever done any stoney creek designs.

The otter looks so sweet. The little girl will love this square. I really don't have a favorite designer, but love to stitch lots of different things, when I can.

Very Cute! I have a few stoney creek designs but, I've not gotten aroudn to stitching them yet.

I have (almost) all of Margaret Sherry's patterns. I've not stitched a lot of her stuff yet but, she is one of my favorite designers.

Such a sweet square this will be for Samantha's quilt!

I always seem to be attracted to charts designed by Sandy Orton.

He is so cute, I'm loving watching this one come alive. As to designers, I hop around a lot. I think I've actually stitched the most from Lizzie Kate, Seka's, and Pine Mountain Tuck pillows. However, I love the looks of some of the larger designs like Mirabilia and Lavender and Lace, just haven't actually done any yet. My new favorite is Little House Needleworks, I've recently added several of her patterns to my stash to do.

This is such a cute piece Barb.
I didn't realize that there aren't enough stitchers this year. Did you read that on the LQ site? That's a real shame as this is such a wonderful cause and the themes so diverse & fun.
Favorite designers you ask - right now I'm going through Blackbird Designs & Just Nan phase.
