What State is It?

Thank you for the comments to my AOY piece it was so much fun to do.

I thought I would turn this into a guessing game to see if you know what state it is by the border. You may have to click on the picture to get a better view. I just started the first of four states by Lavender and Lace for my niece. One state Scott was raised in, another Michelle was raised in the other two they lived in together so far. This one is the one that looked least appealing so thought I would do it first. I don't know why when I do the middle there is a beer and mug in it instead of mountains as it is a beautiful state with the mountains. I'm not creative enough to replace it I pretty much go straight by the pattern.

My brother is coming in from MO this weekend. It'll be the first time in about 5 years since he was up here so we are looking forward to their visit.

Well, until next time Happy Stitching!

It's Colorado ... if the fact that the name of the state wasn't in the border the fact that USAF Academy is gave it away to me.

After I posted it I discovered Colorado was in the border! Shows you how observant I was when I stitched it! Actually I thought Rocky Mountains would give it away too.

The reason there is a mug of beer in the middle is because Colorado is home to hundreds of microbreweries. As even the big guys say, "It's the water!" Nothing quite like mountain spring water to drink and it is even good in beer.

I'm going with the majority and say Colorado! ;o) LOL!

What a neat pattern.

I can't wait to see this finished. Colorado is one of my favorite states to visit. (DS#1 used to live there). I agree, though, I would choose mountains over beer mugs!!
