Thank you for your comments to yesterday's post. I had not planned to make an entry today but this has progressed so much I thought I would. It probably will be done Sunday as tomorrow will be a busy day. I found this pattern in the fall 2006 issue of The Cross Stitcher.

WOW! You are really stitching this very quickly. And, it's on black! You must have some sort of special needle. :-) It is very cute, and I can't wait to see it finished.

I can see you've been using embroidery hoops for stitching. Don't the hoops squash the stitches somewhat? Would appreciate your feedback because I want to start a a project using hoops and am rather worried.
