Favorite CS Piece

First Whiskers says Thank you for the Birthday Wishes. He had a good day on his birthday. He was boss. (Isn't he always)

I was thinking today about Favorite pieces. Do you have one that you did and it just stands out. For some reason this one is my favorite of all the pieces I did. It was so much fun to stitch. I did it several years ago. My mom wanted a Welcome piece to hang in their entry way so I did this one and loved it. I'd like to hear about your favorite piece.

I'm not big on Sports but I am caught up in the Detroit Tigers right now. After having so many rough years, they are well on their way to Worldchampionships. All they have to do is beat Oakland A's today and they will be going.

So much for our fall follage. The leaves have fallen pretty much off the trees around here. Which that was forecasted. Oh well....maybe next year. Can you believe someone was actually surfing on Lake Michigan yesterday! Dangerous thing to do with those winds and the waves!

Well, please tell me about your favorite cs piece. Until next time Happy Stitching!

That's a lovely Welcome piece, I can see why it would be one of your favourites.

Do I have a favourite piece? I would really have to think about that, probably it changes to whichever one that I'm currently working on, LOL!

What a beautifully framed piece!

My favorite?....I believe I would have to say I have 2 currently. The 1st is the Charles Wysokii project I stitched from Cross Stitch and Country Crafts, it was a tryptic and I stitched it right after graduating from college and starting my career. I wasn't married and I had all this free time. It's a Amish Farm Scene.
I gave it to my MIL after I was married.

My second favorite is a Paula Vaughan project called Job's Tears. I stitched that one for my Husband's Grandparents Anniversary present (50th). I thought it was lovely after I finished it.

:o)

Whoever is surfing on Lake Michigan should have to listen to about 500 verses of the "Edmund Fitzgerald."

I love the welcome piece. My favorite piece is the Whale Hunting project I'm working on now. Second favorite would be Birth of Jesus. Coincidence that I'm working on both of them now, I think.

Happy belated birthday to Whiskers1

OOOH, that's a beautiful piece :) !!!

Gosh, I have so many that I like...I guess I would have to say Good Neighbors by Paula Vaughan.
Of course I have stitched several L&L's for others (with 3 at the framers right now) that I am in awe of each time I visit them...LOL!

Hi Barb, thanks for visiting my blog :) I would have to say my favourite piece is probably one of my recently framed pieces, Magic by San-Man Originals. Although, I'm sure that will soon change when I have more completed pieces, I always fall in love all over again! LOL.

Hi Barb,

Thank you so much for leaving comment on my blog, it's so nice to know you!! I love all your stitching work & wish to do the same pieces of your choices!!

I think there should be lots of gorgeous designs from Korea so cross stitchers there are more luckier than people here in Hong Kong.. I came to know their design when shopping the cheap cross stitch kits in mainland China (they might not be originals!), and later on also found some in craft shops in Hong Kong.. I think many of my small projects are actually Korean's design!

My favourite piece.. hm, maybe it is my grandparents' portrait, it looks so "real" that many people thought it's a photo on the wall..

I love doing big projects but it takes ages to finish one.. and there's always something small and too beautiful to be missed while stitching the big item!!

See, there are more temptations from your blog too!!

Will read your blog daily, keep up your good work!!

Happy Stitching!!!!

Barb, I can see why that's your favorite piece of all your stitching! It's just lovely, and it was truly a labor of love. My favorite piece is an old Paula Vaughan design, "A Little Girl's Fancy." Very Victorian and hangs in my guest room above the bed.
